Adam and Mark are very excited to be part of the Yosemite Songwriting Retreat (October 7th – 10th 2016) again this year. Adam will be teaching two songwriting workshops and Mark will be helping participants record their compositions. Read on for more details…

Now in it’s fourth year, the Yosemite Songwriting Retreat is an intensive weekend of instruction with a variety of accomplished songwriters. This year’s instructors include Grammy winning Americana artist Laurie Lewis, fierce slide guitar player and a song poet David Jacobs-Strain and soulful and heartfelt songsmith Keith Greeninger. In addition to classes and workshops, there will be opportunities to perform and record your songs and sign up for mentor sessions with our instructors to get individual attention. Anyone 18 years old and over may participate. Previous experience with songwriting is welcome but not necessary.

The 2016 Yosemite Songwriting Retreat is scheduled for October 7th – 10th at the Yosemite Bug Rustic Mountain Resort in Midpines, California. The retreat begins on Friday, October 7th at 7:30 pm with a public concert at The Yosemite Bug, featuring retreat instructors Laurie Lewis, David Jacobs-Strain, Keith Greeninger, Gail Dreifus and Adam Burns.
